Board Members

Laurieann Tebben took over the role of Executive Director of The Baby Bureau in January 2022. Laurieann has spent her entire adult life working with and caring for babies and children. She is dedicated to continuing the mission of The Baby Bureau that Fran Wasserman started and looks forward to helping it to grow to aid as many underserved and at-risk babies in our community as possible. She has already increased the number of Social Service Providers The Baby Bureau works with on a continuing basis.

Laurieann is a 1992 graduate of the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in Health in Society. She also has a K-8 Teaching Certificate from Gwynedd Mercy College and Certificate of Non-profit Management from LaSalle University.

Chris Berkowitz took over the role of Program and Volunteer Coordinator in January 2022. She had previously been a member of the Baby Bureau Board of Directors for 2 years before taking on this new role. Chris puts together all our Baby Bundles and coordinates getting the completed bundles to the Social Service providers. Chris is a Community Outreach Coordinator at Einstein Health and has a wealth of experience in customer service, client care and confidentiality. She is a true asset to The Baby Bureau team.

Jeff Smith has been the treasurer and financial advisor for the Baby Bureau for 9 years. He is a partner and managing director at Plymouth Meeting based Bishop, Smith and Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC where he guides individuals and families in meeting their financial goals. Jeff keeps the Baby Bureau on track to keep within our means and is an invaluable source for all financial matters.

Michael Phillips has been a member of The Baby Bureau Board of Directors for 9 years. He recently took over the duty of Secretary. Mike is a wealth of knowledge for Marketing matters. He has over 20 years’ experience in the field of marketing. He has a keen eye for detail and excels at creating quality media distributions. Mike is the Director of Marketing Operations at Alkermes.

Catalina Sanchez joined the Board of Directors team in January 2023. Catalina is a Spanish and ESL teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in Pennsylvania and in Mexico. She is the mother of a young daughter and a member of The Warminster MOMS group that is a supporter of The Baby Bureau. Catalina brings fundraising, local networking and organizational experience to our team.

Angie Bellon joined The Baby Bureau Board of Director in February 2024. She is a Program Manager at Maternity Care Coalition, one of the largest Social Service Agencies that partners with The Baby Bureau. Angie has over 20 years of experience working with the underserved and at-risk population in the Philadelphia region. Angie brings a wealth of experience in fundraising, volunteering and serving the needs of diverse communities.
